About

I live and work in Himmerland in Northern Jutland, where my practice grows out of the quiet rhythms of village life, the rolling landscape, the changing seasons, and the intimacy of everyday life. With a background in Art History, I move between historical knowledge and lived experience, allowing nature, motherhood and slowness to shape both my life and my work.

My paintings begin with an act of noticing, both the present moment but also looking back at memories and time.

Colour is my language, and memory and presence are at the heart of my practice. I am interested in the quiet poetry of ordinary life and in the emotions carried by seemingly insignificant moments. My paintings are not only observations of the world around me; they are attempts to preserve a feeling, to hold space for wonder, and to create images that feel like memories—whether lived, imagined or shared.

I hope my work invites others to slow down, to look with softness, and to reconnect with the beauty, nostalgia and quiet magic already woven into everyday life.
